Our year 10 graphics students took their learning on location with a creative day in Nottingham! 📸

As part of their latest project, students are developing promotional designs inspired by the city and Nottingham Forest. A tour of The City Ground gave them the chance to explore the stadium, capture their own photography and gather ideas ready to take back into the classroom.

A great opportunity to see how graphic design works beyond the classroom and build creative skills through a real-world brief.

🏇 Maths in action at Southwell Racecourse

Year 8 students swapped the classroom for the racecourse for a day of practical maths at Southwell Racecourse.

From converting stones, pounds and ounces in the weigh-in room to measuring the parade ring and working with furlongs, chains and miles, students had plenty of opportunities to put their maths skills to the test.

A great way to see how maths is used beyond the classroom! 👏
