Massive thank you to two of our great customers, Andy and Trish, for their continued business over the years and for trusting Morrison Tree & Landscape with their garden. 🙏

Grantown Nursery 🌱

Towards the end of the summer holidays, the team had the privilege of making some improvements to the Grantown Nursery garden.

With a sandpit that had seen better days and an unstable bank that was continually eroding, we got to work:

🌱 Built a new raised sandpit
🪵 Installed a sleeper retaining wall
🔨 Added fencing around the timber gazebo to make the area safer and sharpen everything up
🌾 Seeded the surrounding areas, with germination sheeting laid to help give the new grass the best possible start

It was great to use our skills to help improve a space that will be enjoyed by so many local children.

A massive shoutout to the team who did an excellent job on this one. 👏

We hope to return in the future to help develop the outdoor space even further. Outdoor spaces play such an important part in children’s learning, play and development, and it’s great to be able to contribute to that right here in Grantown. 🌱

Fence Replacement | Grantown On Spey🔨

Our team recently carried out a replacement of a rotten fence in Grantown.

The fence itself was actually in reasonable condition - the posts weren’t.

The last photo shows exactly what happens to your fence when ground rot creeps in. Once the posts begin to rot at ground level, the strength and lifespan of the entire fence is compromised.

That’s why we use Postsaver® anti-rot protection sleeves on our timber fence posts, helping protect the most vulnerable part of the post and ensuring that when we build your fence, it stands the test of time.

I’m sure most folk will have seen that both roundabouts in Grantown were graffiti’d overnight… AGAIN! 🤦‍♂️

It looks like pretty much every sign on both roundabouts has been vandalised. Unfortunately, there were far too many for us to tackle them all, but the team got stuck in and managed to clean up the main Grantown sign and get it looking respectable again. 💪

It’s really not nice to see this happening in our town. We, for one, think Grantown is a brilliant place - it’s our home, and we’re proud to call it that. ❤️

What you love to see. After a hard day’s graft, trimming topiary, building a fence and cutting A LOT of grass - the team are still all chipping in to help each other get unloaded at the end of the day.
