Exciting news! We’ve been awarded over £6000 for a set of bikes, scooters and helmets for Dragons Class, and another set for Unicorns, with staff training on how best to use them! On top of this, we will have storage and a proper bike store. Also, our friends at Spokey Dokey Bikes will come into school each term to provide bike maintenance for the whole family! ❤️

Improved walking and cycling routes, secure bike storage, and training to boost confidence will be delivered across York and North Yorkshire.

What an amazing day! SO many parents, pupils and ex-pupils in school getting things looking amazing in school! Painting, varnishing, fencing, weeding, moving stones, laying a patio, moving shelters, jet-washing, planting…. such an upgrade to our amazing playground, field and EYFS area. Thank you SO much to everyone who came to help 😍

What a fantastic experience with James Brunt Artist yesterday! We loved making the most of the natural resources around us to create this incredible art. We know it won’t last forever - that’s part of the appeal, but the teamwork, creativity and skill shown by the children was fantastic. Many thanks to James, to Friends Of Great Ouseburn Primary School and to Upper Ouse Conservation Trust ❤️

The moment we’ve been wait for FOREVER! Words can’t express our gratitude to Nick Piebaronjunior Voakes and his “contractors” for their incredible work over the last couple of days. This just looks incredible. Thanks also to Friends Of Great Ouseburn Primary School for funding this, Upper Ouse Conservation Trust for leasing us the land, and of course all the parents who tirelessly fundraise to support of school. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
