❗ August Bank Holiday Waste & Recycling Collection Date Changes ❗

Please note there will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday 31st August and collections will take place one day later than usual for the whole week from Tuesday 1st September to Saturday 5th September.

The normal collection timetable will resume on Monday 7th September.

We have been made aware of a road closure in Great Torrington from South West Water. In order to carry out the essential works, the road will be closed from the junction of Castle Street to near The Keep between 06/09/2026 - 10/09/2026.

This will affect the following:
🔹 Barley Grove Car Park will not be accessible during the road closure - please use alternative parking at South Street Car Park during this time
🔹 The access to the Pannier Market and toilets will be limited and inaccessible from Castle Street

Businesses will be open as usual.

We have generated a short Devon Data Centre & BESS Survey which is making it's way to you in the post, please do look out for this and complete it at your earliest convenience.

We are aware that some residents haven't yet received theirs but we understand that they will go out with other post for the property. So if you haven't had any post over the last couple of days this could explain why you haven't yet received your survey.

Please be assured that surveys will be sent to all properties in the EX38 7 and EX38 8 postcode areas. The deadline for completion is 25th September: if you haven't received your survey closer to that date please let us know.
