West Suffolk is not a holding pen.

Labour wants to dump hundreds (possibly over a thousand) of asylum seekers on RAF Barnham — a quiet rural site next to Thetford, with limited services, poor transport and no consent from the people who actually live here.

West Suffolk Council voted against it. Local residents have raised the alarm. Costs are already soaring. And still they push on.

Restore Britain’s position is simple:

Stop using our towns and villages as overflow accommodation

Stop placing large numbers of single males into communities that never asked for them

Deport those with no legal right to be here

Put the safety and quality of life of British residents first — every time

This is not “far-right”. This is basic fairness.

If you live in Mildenhall, Newmarket, Haverhill, Brandon, Thetford or the surrounding villages and you’ve had enough of decisions being made to you rather than for you — this is your page.

🚨 Labour is appealing to keep foreign national crime data secret.

The Information Commissioner ordered the Ministry of Justice to release detailed conviction figures by nationality (2018–2024).

Instead of publishing, the government is fighting the ruling in court, claiming cost — even though most of the data is already compiled.

Other European countries publish these statistics. Britain is choosing secrecy.

Here in West Suffolk, people in our towns and villages deserve the same transparency as anywhere else. We can’t properly judge immigration and deportation policy without the facts.

Denmark publishes what Britain won’t.

Official Danish Ministry of Finance data (2019 figures, revised 2023) shows the average net fiscal contribution of immigrants by country of origin. Some groups add tens of thousands of pounds a year to the public purse. Others cost tens of thousands a year each.

That matters in West Suffolk.

Every net fiscal drain at national level means tighter budgets for the services we actually use – GPs, schools, roads, adult social care – and higher council tax for local residents.

Britain still refuses to produce the same honest breakdown.
Until immigration policy is based on net contribution rather than open numbers, local taxpayers will keep picking up the bill.

Restore Britain: selective immigration that strengthens the country, not permanent costs on working families.

Our neighbours in Thetford have had enough – and the pressure is spilling onto ordinary streets.

This week ordinary homes in Thetford have been targeted. Windows smashed. Fences ripped down. Crowds gathering outside properties believed to be housing asylum seekers. Police officers bitten and hit with rocks. Residents forced out of their own houses while men were escorted away by officers.

This isn’t abstract. These are normal residential streets – the kind of places where families live, kids play and people just want to feel safe in their own homes. The anger has been building for months, but the recent decision to place young male asylum seekers into private houses in the town has pushed things over the edge.

Just over the border, plans for a large-scale site at RAF Barnham have already left local communities feeling ignored. Now that same approach is being rolled out into everyday streets in Thetford – with zero consultation and zero regard for the people already living there.

West Suffolk isn’t insulated from this. Thetford is our neighbour. When communities next door start seeing their residential streets turned into flashpoints, it becomes our concern too.

Restore Britain’s position remains clear:

Stop using ordinary family homes for asylum accommodation

End the policy of dumping single males into communities without consent

Deport those with no right to be here

Put the safety of British residents first

The people of Thetford are making their voices heard. We stand with them.

Thousands of homes planned for a village of 175 people.

Pigeon and the Higham Estate have put forward proposals for a massive new community on the entire 2,600-acre Higham Estate.

This isn’t a few houses on the edge of the village. It’s being described as a “new town” scale development that would surround Higham’s Upper, Middle and Lower Greens with several thousand homes, schools and infrastructure.

Quiet rural countryside and productive farmland risk being replaced by concrete, while already stretched roads, schools and services take even more pressure.

This is still at the Call for Sites stage for the next Local Plan — but a public meeting is set for 7 September at Higham Church.

Is this the scale of change we want forced onto our rural West Suffolk communities?

Remember the “far-right terror plot” that shut down a massive Muslim gathering in Suffolk last week?

15,000 people at Shrubland Hall in Barham.

Counter-terror police arrest eight men under the Terrorism Act.

Four more held on conspiracy to murder.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood tells Parliament the police action “undoubtedly saved lives.”

Keir Starmer expresses his shock at the “credible, serious threat.”

Then… nothing.

Almost all of them were released without charge.

The one person who was charged? Possession of batons and a stun gun. Suspended sentence. (Police and the court stated those offences were not connected to the alleged threat against the event.)

There was no plot.

No attack plan.

No bombs.

No conspiracy.

Just some anti-immigration activists flying drones over the event to film it. That was enough for the full government and media machine to swing into action and invent a far-right terror threat that never existed.

This is how the narrative works now. Invent the danger first, get the headlines, then quietly drop the charges when no one is looking.

🚨 BREAKING

The Government has now admitted they are aware that Iranian-backed IRGC terrorists are crossing the English Channel in small boats and entering the UK.

Not suspected.

Not possible.

Aware.

While ordinary British people face the consequences of open borders every day, the people in charge already know that actual terrorists linked to a hostile foreign regime are using the same routes.

This isn’t a failure of intelligence.

It’s a failure of will.

No more excuses.

No more “complex challenges.”

Secure the border. Deport those who have no right to be here. And stop pretending this is sustainable.

The British people are not stupid. We can see exactly what’s happening.
