Just 3 days to go.

A huge thank you to Angela Rayner for coming to Greenwich and shining a spotlight on Labour’s record, standing up for renters and championing stronger employment rights.

From backing renters to fighting for fair pay, Labour is on your side.

Darren asks a good question 🤨

It won’t be long now until the Renters’ Rights Act becomes law.

At midnight tonight, Labour’s landmark legislation will come into force - just 21 months after being elected, turning the page on the Conservatives’ failures on housing.

For renters in Eltham, tomorrow is a big day: giving you a longer term stake in our community, while we restore the dream of home ownership in our borough.

The new Renters’ Rights law will:

🚫 End no-fault Section 21 evictions
📈 Give you the power to challenge unfair rent rises
💸 Ban bidding wars that push up rents
🏡 Ensure safer, higher-quality homes you can be proud to live in
🦮 Give you the right to have a pet at home, because you asked

And we’re not stopping there.

We’ll build more homes, including 6,000 at council-rent, so that people can afford to live here and stay here and Eltham remains a place people are proud to call home.

On May 7 🗳️, only a vote for Labour candidates will deliver real change in people’s lives 🌹
