We’ll be planting new flowers and shrubs, tidying up the outdoor space, and getting the garden ready to enjoy over the summer months. 🌼

You might have heard we’re overhauling our repairs service. Our goal is simple – to deliver a better experience for our customers by improving how we manage and carry out repairs.

Fancy having your say on how we do things at LHP? 🤔

If so, you might be interested in taking part in our upcoming co-design panels – a chance to help shape and improve the services that matter to you.

🗣 Co-design is all about working together, giving you the opportunity to share your experiences and ideas that will directly influence how we deliver our services.

✅ Over the next six months, we’ll be running three panel groups, each focusing on a different theme:

🔧 Repairs: Share your experiences of the repairs service and help us make improvements
🏡 Empty homes: Tell us about moving into your home and help improve the standard of empty homes before letting
📄 Customer information: Work with us to make our information clearer and more accessible

📅 Sessions will take place monthly and can be attended both in-person, or online.

🔥 Mobility scooter and battery fire safety reminder 🔥

Mobility scooters can help people stay independent, but it’s important they're stored and charged safely.

⚡️Lithium-ion batteries used in mobility scooters can become dangerous if they are damaged, overcharged or charged incorrectly. Fires involving batteries can spread quickly and create large amounts of smoke, particularly in hallways and shared areas.

To help keep you and your neighbours safe:

⚠️ Never store or charge mobility scooters in communal corridors, stairwells or shared entrances
🔋 Only use the manufacturer-approved charger
⏰ Avoid charging overnight or leaving batteries charging unattended
🚪 Keep escape routes and exits clear at all times
🏠 Contact us before bringing a mobility scooter into your home or building so we can help you find the safest storage and charging option

We offer a safe, welcoming space for people living with dementia, giving carers the chance to take a well earned break, or otherwise use their time. 💙

📅 When: Every Tuesday & Thursday
📍 Where: Mayfields, Broadfield Lane, Boston, PE21 8GH

What you can expect:
✨Full or half-day sessions
✨Friendly staff, trained in dementia care
✨Activities, gentle exercise & a nutritious two-course lunch
✨A safe, calm environment

The first session is free, with no obligation to book further sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to come along with a carer, experience the service, and see if it’s the right fit. 🙌
