The sunshine is welcome, but warmer weather can bring extra health risks, especially for older people, young children and those with underlying health conditions.

A few simple steps can help you and those around you stay safe:
💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
🏠 Keep your home as cool as possible by closing curtains or blinds on sunny windows and opening windows when it’s cooler outside.
🌳 Stay in the shade during the hottest part of the day.
👋 Check in on friends, family, neighbours or anyone who may need a little extra support.

Let’s all look out for one another and enjoy the warmer weather safely. ☀️
