Works at the Bradley Road/Barnoldby Road/Waltham Road junction are currently ahead of schedule and as such the surfacing works will be brought forward.

EC Surfacing now plan to begin the surfacing works on Wednesday, 3 June, and aim to be complete by Monday, 8 June. These works will be carried out under night time road closures between 7pm and 5am. Outside of these hours, the road will be fully open. All works are weather permitting.

The local 9/10 bus service will continue to terminate at Cheapside and turn around via Kirk Gate, with normal bus services resuming once the works are complete on Tuesday 9th June. The 11-bus service will continue to operate as normal. Information about the bus diversion routes can be found on Stagecoach’s website:

https://www.stagecoachbus.com/regional-service-updates/east-midlands/grimsby-cleethorpes

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the works. Although every effort will be made to minimise disruption throughout the works, please be aware some elements will be noisy.

Residents with driveways within the works areas and pedestrians will have access maintained at all times

‼️Neville Turner Way Under 5's Play Area‼️
We would like to let villagers know that the fenced area will be closed next week on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th (May) to allow for some improvement works to be carried out.
Unfortunately the timing of these improvements is outside of our control.
The Parish Council will be installing a new seesaw next week, and North East Lincolnshire Council will be closing the park for painting the existing play equipment.
We hope that these works will make the park a better place for children and families in time for the summer weather.
Please help to spread the word 😊

The Parish Council recently requested to meet NELC Highways about safety at the pedestrian crossing outside the Limes on Barnoldby Road. Today the crossing and zig zag lines have been freshly painted to better alert motorists to the crossing.
We urge residents to report issues with roads to NELC online at Report an issue on our streets | NELC https://share.google/t01HFwIaBKeJKQg7e
