Looking for a new challenge? Want to do something rewarding and make a real difference in your local community?

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Coastguard Rescue Officers.

HM Coastguard is the UK's 999 maritime and coastal emergency service, responding to incidents and helping people in distress around our coastline.

As a Coastguard Rescue Officer, there isn't a typical day.

One day you could be searching for a missing person. The next, providing emergency medical care to an injured walker. Or you could be working alongside your team to safely extricate someone trapped in mud.

Every callout is different. Every day is different.

To be eligible, you must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Live and/or work in the local area
• Hold a full driving licence
• Be fit and healthy

No previous Coastguard experience is required — full training is provided.
