When play, adventure and imagination arrived at Bonsey Gardens! 🐮

We were thrilled to transform the local play area in Wrentham into a vibrant and welcoming space designed to bring children of different ages and abilities together.

There’s plenty to discover, including:

🐔 Inclusive play features such as cradle swings and sensory panels, helping more children enjoy the space.

🚜 Themed play and role-play areas, including an imaginative tractor, encouraging little adventurers to create their own stories.

🧗 A challenging Tough Trail, inspired by Ninja Warrior, where older children can put their balance, agility and problem-solving skills to the test.

Sustainability was an important part of the project too, with durable materials and timber sourced from certified sustainable forestry used throughout.

A colourful, inclusive and exciting new destination for the Wrentham community — built for years of outdoor play and adventure. 💚

A new adventure has landed at Unity Beach! 🌊☀️

We’re excited to see our bespoke, inclusive play area become part of the brand-new leisure experience at Unity Beach in Brean, Somerset!

As part of the huge £25m development, we worked with Leisure Concepts and the wider project team to create a play space designed to bring adventure, imagination and fun to the seaside.

And with the beach just around the corner, the equipment needed to be ready for coastal life too! 🌊 Our final design features power-coated equipment with stainless steel fixings, chosen with the environment in mind.

Completed in time for the grand opening in July, the new play area is ready for plenty of climbing, exploring and making memories. 🛝✨

Who’s ready for their next adventure?

Where will their next adventure take them? 🌴

From sailing the seven seas to running their very own shop or exploring hidden jungle worlds, our themed play units turn outdoor spaces into places where big imaginations can take the lead.

Designed for endless adventures, creative play and memories that last.

A playground made for everyone!

Working with Adur & Worthing Councils , we gave this community play space a complete refresh — and local children and families had a big say in the final design. ❤️

After a community consultation, the public voted in favour of our design, helping us create a playground packed with opportunities to climb, swing, bounce, balance, slide and explore!

And there’s plenty to discover…

🧗 Climb high on the Climbing Pyramid
🛝 Slide and scramble on the Inclusive Scramble Unit
🎠 Bounce and rock on the themed Spring Rockers
🤸 Swing together on the different swing seats
🧩 Explore the interactive play panels
🎨 Play games along the thermographic tarmac pathway

The new all-weather wetpour surface means children can access the equipment throughout the year, while the accessible design helps children of different abilities play alongside one another. 💚

One of our favourite features is the Inclusive Scramble Unit, with an accessible ramp leading to platforms and play panels — giving more children the opportunity to get involved in the fun.

A huge thank you to Adur & Worthing Council and the local community for helping us create a space designed around the people who use it.

Things got seriously adventurous at KC Active in Kings Cliffe when we installed our Rockmaster Tough Trail!

Think climbing walls, monkey bars, ropes, traverse nets, overhead ladders and jumping challenges — all joined together in one action-packed circuit!

The best part? There’s no set way to tackle it.

🏃 Race your friends
🧗 Climb your way around
💪 Test your strength
🤸 Take on the obstacles
🏆 Challenge yourself to go further

Whether you’re a confident obstacle-course pro or taking your time and tackling one challenge at a time, the Rockmaster lets everyone play at their own pace.

And we loved seeing it come to life at KC Active’s launch event on International Day of Play last year, with Spiral Freerun putting on an amazing demonstration and families getting stuck into the new course!

Pirate Ship Park at Cliff Park, Dovercourt has had a serious upgrade! 🏴‍☠️

In summer 2025, we completed the redevelopment of this much-loved play area for Tendring District Council, replacing the original pirate ship with a brand-new bespoke eibe Play centrepiece.

And this ship is packed with adventure!

🧗 Climb the nets, ladders and boulder walls
🏴‍☠️ Take the pirate’s pole
🌊 Cross the wobble bridge
🔭 Search the horizon with the telescopes
⚓ Take the helm and steer your crew
🛝 Race down the slides
💰 Explore the treasure-map themed surfacing
🌴 Discover the spaces below deck

Built from beautiful natural Robinia timber, the new ship has been designed to make the most of every inch of the space, with play opportunities above, below and all around the ship.

There are places to climb, balance, slide, explore, imagine and — of course — embark on some seriously important pirate missions! 🏴‍☠️

With space for up to 50 children to play at once, there’s plenty of room for crews big and small to set sail together.

And with inclusive wetpour surfacing and a variety of different play experiences, there’s something for everyone to discover.

Water play, natural play and plenty of family fun! 💧

Take a look back at one of our favourite projects at Windmill Farm in Leicestershire!

The team created a brand-new water play area designed to bring children and families together through hands-on outdoor adventure.

Made using beautiful, sustainably sourced robinia timber, the play area blends naturally into its countryside surroundings while offering plenty to discover — from water channels and basins to pumps, weirs and waterwheels.

Little ones can scoop, pour and splash, while older children can experiment with dams, pumps and flowing water, discovering how they can change and control its direction.

And because great play is for everyone, the space also includes wide basins and accessible wetpour surfacing, helping more children get involved and enjoy the experience together. ❤️

It’s a wonderful example of how natural materials, thoughtful design and interactive play can create a space that families want to return to again and again.
