Last night (14 October) officers stopped a vehicle on Cobham High Street, the two men within were arrested in connection to ram raids committed in the local area.

The driver, a 31-year-old from Ottershaw, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and failing to provide a specimen of breath.

The passenger, a 34-year-old from Staines, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.

We are appealing for the public's help to identify the individuals in the images below, as we believe they may be able to assist our investigation into an assault in Guildford.

The incident took place at around 2am on Wednesday, 23 September at Wey House, Stag Hill Campus.

Our local officers were at Surrey University’s Freshers event last week, welcoming new students and offering advice on crime prevention and personal safety.

The team spoke with students about keeping themselves and their belongings safe, while also being on hand to answer questions about policing and listen to any local concerns.

Engagement like this is an important part of neighbourhood policing, helping us build relationships and understand the issues that matter to the people who live, work and study in our communities.

A man has been charged after fleeing from officers in Ash on 17 September and being detained by a police dog unit.

Chaz Parker, 35 (07/09/1991), of Reigate, was charged with stalking, breach of restraining order, sending communication threatening death or serious harm, and obstructing an engine or carriage using the railway by an unlawful act.

He appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court this morning, where he was remanded to appear at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, 22 October.

We are appealing for witnesses following a road rage incident in Gomshall last week.

Following a road rage incident involving the driver of a black car and a cyclist, it is reported that the driver of the car threatened the cyclist with a knife.

The driver is described as a White man aged between 30 and 40, around 5’8” in height with a slim build. He had long, wiry blonde hair and a blonde beard and was wearing a black top and bottoms with pink spots, described as a tracksuit.
