EQualise is a new creative music production course for female and female identifying young people running on Thursdays 5.30pm - 7.00pm, starting May 7, at ACM Guildford.
If you've ever wanted to create your own music and learn the techniques needed to produce music like the pros, this is a chance to take a deep dive into music production in a supportive female only space. No experience needed, just bring your ideas.

Guitar Lab is a new project for young guitarists at any level (year 3 and above), to come together to learn, play, perform and record as a group at our new music studio in Guildford. After a 5 week pilot, we are now welcoming new members. So if you play guitar, bass or ukulele and you're looking for somewhere to develop your skills and play with others, sign up now for weekly sessions on Mondays 5.00pm - 6.00pm at Surrey Arts HQ, the Pines, Guildford.

Surrey Arts and ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) celebrated International Women's Day on 8 March with a creative music production workshop. EQualise offered the opportunity for female and female identifying young people to explore music production in a fun, supportive and creative environment.

In response to the popularity of the workshop, we are putting on a 10 week course starting on May 7th 5.30 - 7.00pm at ACM.

Members of the Surrey Advanced Brass Ensemble are up early today motivating the runners of with some uplifting tunes. It’s great bringing the talent of our young musicians to community events like this. Thanks to our brilliant staff for organising this and giving up their Sunday morning!
