Labour has forced on us the largest housing target increase in the country, an increase of 1,300%. A total of 642 houses a year, or a town the size of Skelton every 4.5 years.

We have a housing crisis in this country, we need to build more, especially in the South East and London. But Labour have cut housing targets in those areas, and forced these increases on us, without any additional provision for infrastructure, and with their changes to planning rules, without the proper consultation of local people.

Meanwhile, whilst forcing these absurd targets on areas like ours, Keir Starmer is claiming we have an abundance of accommodation to house hundreds of thousands of migrants.

Only the Conservatives will make our voices heard and take on the Labour Government over our housebuilding targets.

➡️ The Council has already been out to improve the fencing, they acknowledged straight away it wasn't to the standard expected

➡️ I had no idea what it was for though some of you guessed right, it's to highlight the Ruthergate Oak which is recorded on the Woodland Trust Ancient Tree Inventory, number 274662 if you would like to look it up 🌳🌳🌳

➡️ Ancient oaks are at least 400 years old, amazing

➡️ We are going to get an interpretation board so we can all learn more about it, so there you go 😊
