Shameful.

As many of you may know i was honoured to be your Mayor back in 2024 and also a member of the Yorkshire Society. That is why I was delighted when the Friends Of Chaloner Street Market and Cllr Julie Hart Hutton Ward Guisborough this years Mayor decided to celebrate Yorkshire Day in style and what a success it was.
But do you know that back in 2008 The Yorkshire Society actually held its annual parade and celebration in Guisborough. Ive posted a link to some photos from that day...Westgate was again packed..does anyone recognise themselves in the photo?
Lets do it again...I intend to stand again for election in 2027 and if elected will call on the borough council to support an application for Guisborough to once again hold the official celebrations in our wonderful Yorkshire town.
If anyone has photos of memories of the day I would love to see them.
