Our two evenings of wonderful performances to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support are now over! Tuesday night in Musselburgh’s Northesk Parish Church raised £589.54 and Thursday night in East Linton’s Prestonkirk Parish Church raised £603.95, which means our grand total for both evenings is £1193.49!

A massive thank you to everyone that performed and supported these events, and thank you to everyone that donated to this worthy cause. 🎶💚

Congratulations to all pupils who took part in our Primary School Young Musician Cluster Heats over the past few weeks! Almost 100 pupils entered the competition this year, growing from its debut last year!

We’re delighted to now have our 21 finalists heading to the final on Wednesday, well done to everyone involved!

Pictured here are some of our very happy finalists from Haddington, along with some of our guitarists from the Prestonpans cluster, all enjoying the opportunity to take part in these positive and inspiring events.

These competitions aim to give our younger musicians the chance to step outside their comfort zones, set goals, and support one another. They help build confidence, encourage commitment, and give pupils a real sense of achievement, something we’re incredibly proud to see. Many thanks to Scottish Young Musicians for the support in putting these events in place for our young people!

We also have some other very exciting events coming up in the next month or so, keep an eye out for these announcements!
