Hagley Library Hagley Library is part of the Worcestershire Libraries & Learning Service. The Library prides itself on its friendly and cheerful service.

We are open at the following times:
Monday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm
Thursday: 9am-1pm then 2-5pm
Friday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 4.30pm
Sunday: Closed

We are located behind the village car park next to the community centre and field. It is very much a part of the local community www.hagleyvillage.org/

Our lending bo

oks can be borrowed for 3 weeks. We have a good selection of books for all ages. Our Adult Section has fiction, large print and non-fiction books as well as a small local history and reference section. Our Young Adult Section is bright and inviting and sited away from the bustle of the junior library with a handy table for homework! The Children's Library is well stocked with board books for babies, picture books and storybooks for older children. We have a large range of junior non-fiction books to help with homework too. Audio Books are available for loan at a cost of £1.40 for 3 weeks. DVDs are available to hire for one week at a cost of £1.00 for U, PG and 12 cert and £1.50 for 15 & 18 cert. We have a scanner within the library linked to the public network computer. We have free internet access on two computers that are available for public use. The computers don't just have internet but have a wide range of facilities including word processing, iTunes and Google Earth. There is a booking system inplace for the computers and we advise you to telephone the library to book a time to avoid disappointment. WiFi provision is now available at Hagley Library.

Bounce & Rhyme is changing from September! 🙂
Bounce and Rhyme will now be called 'Baby Bounce & Rhyme' and is suitable for babies and non-walkers. There will be 2 sessions each week, Mondays and Fridays at 10.30am-11am.
If your child is walking come along to Active Tots on Mondays at 2.15-2.45pm for similar songs and parachute fun!

It’s a beautiful sunny day so far 🤞to come along to the library and take part in our picture hunt around the park! Available from now until 12 and 2-4pm today, Thursday and Friday this week.
Also don’t forget to come and tell us how many books you’ve read for your Summer Reading Challenge, if you have read 4 books you can get a National Trust voucher for a free entry for one child and adult to The Firs-Elgar’s birthplace, to use by the end of August!

Come along today Monday 24th August, Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th from 9.30am-12 or 3-4pm to take part in our fun picture hunt around the Hagley playing field. Find and name all 10 musical instruments then return to the library to collect a prize! 😀
