Fire Door Maintenance Completed!

Some fire doors can be brought up to be compliant without replacing your existing door. All our fire door maintenance comes with a 3 month warranty and a fire door certificate.
This week we have been doing just that for our client in Woking Surrey, 25 doors now compliant and safe.

We would like to welcome Cadet Direct to the RTJ Group family.

We recently attended site to complete a fire extinguisher service and replace some of their expired extinguishers with some new, fully compliant ones, ensuring they continue to meet the highest fire safety standards.🧯

Our client required this cupboard to achieve a minimum 30 minute fire rating (FD30).

To meet this specification, we:

* Replaced the existing frame.
* Installed a new fire-rated door.
* Fire-stopped all joints using approved fire-rated sealant.
* Applied a two-stage clear intumescent coating to both the interior and exterior surfaces.

The cupboard and door assembly now provides the required 30-minute fire resistance, helping to improve compartmentation and enhance fire safety within the building.
