Fell End Nature Reserve Fell End Nature Reserve is a haven for wildlife in the Arnside & Silverdale AONB. Nature Reserve

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the nature reserve.

Free to enter, it has 3 hides and a range of woodland trails to explore, where you can spot deer, birds, butterflies and more.

A Wildly Wonderful Nature Trail!

We had a wonderful time taking the children on a nature trail around our beautiful nature reserve! 🌱🐦🦋

There was plenty to discover along the way, with the children learning about the wildlife, plants and natural world around them.

A big thank you to Roger, our wonderful nature reserve expert, for guiding the group and sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm.

And, of course, a huge thank you to all the parents for joining us, supporting the children and helping to make the day such a special one. 💚

To top off the adventure, every child received a certificate officially making them a Fell End Nature Reserve Ranger! 🏅

Well done to all our new rangers — we hope you enjoyed your adventure as much as we did! 🌳

Today, Wednesday 19th August, we’re celebrating the beauty of nature through photography and what better place to find inspiration than right here at our nature reserve?

From wildlife and wildflowers to peaceful views and those little details you might otherwise walk past, there’s always something to capture. 📷🦋🌸

A beautiful family moment captured on the reserve today 🦢

These elegant swans are proudly guiding their fluffy cygnets through the water as they begin their adventure. The spring and summer months are a wonderful time to spot young wildlife across the reserve, so keep your eyes peeled during your visit.

If you do see cygnets, please remember to give them plenty of space and enjoy watching from a distance.
