Honestly, trust us on this.

Fire doesn’t care what size your business is - So no matter how small your premises are, if you ever had an accidental fire you would be SO grateful that you had Fire Protection in place.

You could lose important paperwork, expensive stock, your LIFE! That’s not even being dramatic, fire kills, it’s a fact.

According to the GOV.UK guide on “making your
small non-domestic premises safe from fire”
“ If you are a person with responsibility for the premises, under fire safety legislation, you must:
* carry out a fire risk assessment of your premises
* ensure that adequate fire safety measures are provided
* maintain those fire safety measures
* have adequate fire procedures to ensure employees and visitors are aware of what to do in the event of fire, and that they understand the fire safety measures within the building
* co-operate with any other person who has duties under fire safety legislation to co-ordinate the fire safety measures for which each of you is responsible
* keep your fire risk assessment and fire safety measures under regular review, and take action where necessary to address new or increased risks “

So please PLEASE get some fire protection in place and make sure you keep it properly maintained. You owe it to your staff and customers to make sure they’re safe.

We always advise that you test your system at the beginning of the week.

Reason being, if something gets broken during testing we won't always have the spare parts in stock to fix it, so if it happens earlier in the week we can more often than not get the part you need and resolve the issue quickly.

But if this happens on a Friday, and our suppliers are closed for the weekend, you could be left without a working system until we can get the parts.

And let's face it, what engineer wants a fault call to attend after work on a friday?! ;)
