🎉💐 Happy 100th Birthday, Irene! 💐🎉

Green Watch from Haden Cross Fire Station paid a special visit to Irene at Roxburgh House in Cradley Heath today, to help celebrate her incredible 100th birthday.

We spotted a post on social media about it, so we brought a card, flowers and a smile to mark her milestone day.

It was a real pleasure to meet you, Irene – wishing you a very happy birthday from all of us at West Midlands Fire Service! 🥳🎈

Christmas trees and Christmas lights are really pretty.

But don’t be tempted to overload your plug sockets in order for them to work.

Think twice about your home fire work display this year.

Sparklers are dangerous things. Please supervise your children if you decide to use them.

Please think twice before you have a home fire work display.

But, if you are planning on a home made fire work display this year, PLEASE READ the safety instructions before you set of your fire works.

This will include safe operating distances. If you are pushed for space, don't risk setting off an explosive in your garden.
