We made the bubbling cauldrons! We painted some cauldrons and cut them out. We glued them to another sheet and then got messy! We mixed paint with bubble mix, dipped different bottles, lids and toilet roll tubes to make bubbles of different sizes. It was such fun.

We did some digging in the garden. We were excited to see lots of wiggly worms. One child got the fidget toys out and played worms going through tunnels. We then followed this up by a visit to the library in search of Julia Donaldson's Superworm. We also found a lovely book called Nature Trail. We sang there's a worm at the bottom of the garden and when we got back from the school run we sat and watched Superworm on TV.

We decided to make some potato cakes for lunch today. We gathered our ingredients and talked through all the steps describing the feel of the potatoes and the smell of the cooking. Not much was eaten but I liked them so that's tea sorted!

I finished my online First Aid course yesterday and today I did the full day course in person.
Very extensive, informative and bit of fun too.

Happy St George's day!
We have been making and painting dragons. We used bubblewrap to print scales and used tissue paper for flames!
We also coloured bookmarks while talking about the story of St George and the dragon.

Good for understanding the world, learning motor skills with scissors and paintbrush, colours and mixing. Cutting and glueing. Learning through play.
