This Friday from 10am, at Queen's Hall.

A heartfelt thank-you to Halstead Rotary, Halstead Town Council and Co-op Halstead for their wonderful support of the Halstead Monthly Dementia Drop-in Group, which was held yesterday at Queen’s Hall.

Your support helps us provide a welcoming, friendly and understanding space for people living with dementia, as well as their families, friends and carers. The group offers an opportunity to meet others, enjoy companionship and access helpful information and support all in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Social connection is so important, and groups like this can make a real difference by reducing isolation and helping people feel supported within their local community.

The Halstead Dementia Drop-in Group takes place at Queen’s Hall from 10am to 12 noon on the first Friday of every month. We would love to welcome new visitors. Whether you are living with dementia, supporting someone who is, or would simply like to learn more, please come along and meet us.

Once again, thank you to Halstead Rotary, Halstead Town Council and Co-op Halstead for helping to make yesterday’s group possible. Your continued support means so much to us and to everyone who attends.

FOUND WALLET - BRAINTREE

A brown leather wallet was handed to one of our officers by a member of the public after it was found at McDonald's in on 25 September 2026.

The wallet contains bank cards, personal photographs and cash. It is also engraved with a personal message, meaning it may hold significant sentimental value to its owner.

Unfortunately, there are no contact details within the wallet, and we are keen to reunite it with its rightful owner.
