🚌🚌Places still available on our next over 60s trip.🚌🚌
These outings are normally sold out well in advance, but we still have spaces on our trip on 10th June to sunny(!?) Cromer 🏖️
These spots aren't limited just to Halstead residents, so if you're available, and fancy spending a day at the beach, do get in touch.

Applications for the new Absorbent Hygiene Products (AHP) collection service are now open. 📢

This new service is designed to support residents who need extra capacity for hygiene-related waste.

From Monday (1 June), your two-weekly grey bin is moving to three-weekly collections.

If you think you’ll need extra space for nappies or continence care products, or are concerned about odours, you may be eligible for a free separate AHP collection.

What can be included? Nappies, nappy bags and wipes, training pants and pull-ups, disposable bedpans and liners, continence care products, colostomy, stoma and catheter waste, feeding tubes, urine bottles, gloves, aprons and tissues and single use absorbent bed sheets.

To find out if you’re eligible and to apply, visit the link in the comments.

If your application is approved, you’ll receive a welcome pack explaining how and when to present your sacks. The service will launch (on 1 June) alongside other changes to recycling and general waste collections. The sacks (supplied free of charge) will be collected twice every three weeks. 🙏
