🏊‍♀️💙 A GRADUAL CHANGE IN TEMPERATURE 💙🏊‍♂️

As we head into September, we’re making a gradual reduction to the pool temperature 🌡️⬇️

From Monday 7th September to Sunday 4th October, our boilers will remain on — we’ll simply be reducing the temperature by 2°C each week.

This means the change will happen gradually over the weeks, allowing swimmers to adjust to the cooler water at a comfortable pace. 💦😊

🏊 Lane swimming sessions throughout the week
🩱 Swimsuits or clean wetsuits welcome
👩‍🦱👨‍🦱 Adults only
💙 A great opportunity to experience swimming at a slightly cooler temperature

So, if you fancy giving it a try, come along, take your time and enjoy the experience! 🌊😊

💙🧡 **WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!** 🧡💙

We’re looking at introducing a **Kids Club at Haltwhistle Swimming & Leisure Centre** and we’d love to know if this is something local families would use! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The idea is simple… **you get an hour for YOU, while the kids get an hour of FUN!** 🎉

While your children enjoy supervised games, activities, crafts and active play, you could use the **gym or join a fitness class**. 💪🏃‍♀️

We’re currently looking at what **days and times** would work best, so we’d really appreciate your feedback:

📅 **Which day of the week would you prefer?**
🏋️ **Would you like the Kids Club to run alongside a fitness class, so you can exercise while your children are having fun?**

There’s **no commitment at this stage** — we’re simply gauging interest and seeing what would work best for our local families. 😊

🌙 WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT! 🌙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Midnight Swim under the Sturgeon Full Moon! 🌕🏊‍♀️

The pool looked absolutely amazing lit up at night, and the atmosphere was something really special. From the swimming and great company to the hot chocolate and complimentary fizz afterwards, it was a night to remember! ✨

It was fantastic to see so many of you getting involved and making the most of something a little different at Haltwhistle Pool.

Under the stars, in the water… pure magic. 💙

Thank you for making the night such a success — we loved every minute of it!

We’re excited to announce that gymnastics restarts on Monday 7th September! 🎉🙌

⏰ Class times:
👧 4–6 years: 4:00–4:45pm
🤸 6–8 years: 4:45–5:30pm
⭐ 8 years+: 5:30–6:15pm

📅 Please note: All classes must be pre-booked in advance. Spaces are limited, so make sure you book your place early! 📲✅

Here it is — The much-anticipated Cool Pool Swim Timetable! ❄️🏊

From 7th September until 4th October, we’re staying open — but with a difference!

The pool will be unheated, giving you the chance to try cool water swimming right here at Haltwhistle Pool.

Whether you’re already a regular cold-water swimmer or fancy giving it a go for the first time, we’ve got plenty of lane swimming sessions throughout the week.

🩱 Swimsuits or clean wetsuits welcome

🎟️ Cool Water Swim Passes are now available to purchase from reception!

Pass prices:
❄️ £35 – Full four-week pass
❄️ £25 – Swim, Gym or Class Members
❄️ FREE – Centre Membership holders

🌞 **AFTER HIGH DEMAND… WE’VE DECIDED TO KEEP THE POOL HEATED FOR ONE MORE WEEK!** 🏊‍♀️

We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re pleased to announce that the heated pool season will now continue for **one extra week**! 🎉

With the kids heading back to school at different times, **make the most of these last few days of the holidays** and enjoy a swim while the pool is still heated! ☀️💦

After that, we’re changing things up…

💦 **The Cool Pool Swim starts from 7th September!**
The pool will stay open, but without the heating — giving you the chance to experience a refreshing cool water swim.
