Work is now underway on the installation of a new Pump Track at Calderglen Zoo & Country Park.

The Pump Track will provide a recreational attraction for families, children and young people, encouraging active travel, outdoor play and healthy lifestyles within one of South Lanarkshire's most popular parks.

The work is expected to take 14 weeks and will not impact the operation of the zoo or our other activities.

However, the play park will not be accessible during the works, but will pause over the September weekend and October holiday for use during school holidays.

The work is part of South Lanarkshire Council's wider Calderglen Country Park Masterplan.

Further information on this project and the wider works around the park are available by following the link in the post below. 👇

A new pump track is to be developed in Calderglen Country Park.
A pump track is a purpose built, small, looped circuit with smooth hills and banked turns for bikes and scooters.
