What a month it's been as your Burnley Borough Councillor for Cliviger with Worsthorne. 🇬🇧

No messing. Just getting on with it.

✅ Spoke against the Kashmir motion. Burnley Council should be focused on Burnley, not debating international affairs. Residents elect us to deal with local issues not international nonsense.

✅ Backing Article 4 protections to help tackle the spread of HMOs.

✅ Supported stronger action against antisocial behaviour in our town.

✅ Resolved three fly-tipping incidents.

✅ Out supporting our own Cllr Josh Graham in Brunshaw.

✅ Responded to residents, dealt with casework, and kept fighting for the people who put their trust in me.

No excuses. No virtue signalling. No international nonsense. Just delivering for local people.

This week it's our supporters meeting, Full Council, and Cliviger Parish Council.

Onwards and upwards. 💪🇬🇧

There is far more to being a Councillor than debating foreign policy in the Council Chamber 🇬🇧

Representing residents and tackling local issues will always remain our priority.

Following concerns raised by residents, I've been out to inspect a couple of issues on The Long Causeway and near Coal Clough Wind Farm.

I'm pleased to say I have now cleared these. ✅

I've also logged a number of other issues across the ward, and we'll continue working to ensure they're resolved. ✅

Vegetation across some footpaths is now beginning to cause access issues and this has also been noted. ✅️

🚛 Waste Collection Update, Worsthorne and Hurstwood ♻️

I have been notified that multiple streets in and around Worsthorne and Hurstwood did not have their waste collected yesterday due to a vehicle issue.

The crews are planning to return tomorrow to collect the missed bins.

If this doesn't happen, then please notify myself, another ward Cllr or log via Love Clean Streets app 👍

The grooming gangs scandal is one of the worst scandals in our history and rightly deserves exposing
