It seems Harlow Tories want to play culture wars. What this means is trying to distract workers' attention from a cost of living crisis, overwhelmed NHS and crumbling public services by blaming migrants, Travellers and benefits 'scroungers'.
The latest disgusting ploy by Harlow Tories is to blame the former Labour administration for not obtaining another town-wide 'persons unknown' Traveller injunction.
The truth is that Harlow Council joined with Bromley Council at the Court of Appeal to overturn an earlier High Court refusal to grant such an injunction. Judge Coulson dismissed the councils appeal. Any chance of another I Junction was dead in the water, hence why Harlow Council did not persue another.
