Harpole Parish Council has recently started adding new stickers to our dog waste bins across the village, each featuring a handy QR code.

If you spot a bin that is damaged, full, or overflowing, simply scan the QR code and report the issue directly. This will help us respond more quickly and keep our village clean and welcoming for everyone.

Please help us look after our village.

This graffiti has recently appeared inside one of the parish council's bus shelters. Despite efforts to remove it, the shelter will now need to be repainted.

Vandalism of this kind creates unnecessary costs for the parish council through both materials and contractor time. These are community facilities that belong to all of us, and we ask everyone to treat them with respect.

Thank you for helping to keep our village tidy and welcoming for everyone.

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed our new benches on Glassthorpe Lane, Carr's Way and Sandy Lane.
Other benches in the village will be replaced soon.

People aged 50 and over are invited to join a community-led network for Older People in West Northamptonshire.

Residents are being sought to get involved in sharing their views and shaping an Older Persons’ Network that will play a part in having its say on local services across the area.

As a member of the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities, there is a commitment to helping people stay active, connected and independent for longer, and residents’ voices can help shape an Age-friendly Community Action Plan.

West Northamptonshire Council is also helping to support and facilitate work to establish community-led networks as part of its Public Sector Equality duty. Community groups and residents interested in setting up a different community network group are encouraged to get in touch.
