Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting our first annual Care Assistant Awards. It was a celebration of the Care Assistants who really are at the heart of our organisation. We had 7 awards - 1 of which was in memory of a very dear colleague - David Chibiya - who sadly passed away early 2024. We were honoured that David's family attended our celebration in order to present the award to the winner 🏆.

Our winners are....

Care Coordinator choice Awards:
⭐️Salmanul & Ruth⭐️

Field Care Supervisor choice Awards:
⭐️Rowena, Angela & Jennie⭐️

Carer of the Year (area 1):
⭐️Daphne⭐️

Carer of the Year (area 2):
⭐️Gemma⭐️

The 'David Chibiya Award of Excellence':
🏆Helen🏆

Thank you to all that attended, and well done to everyone who won an award 🏅

We would not be the business we are today without each and every one of you!

Our wonderful office staff surprised one of our lovely customers with an early Christmas gift.... a cushion with a picture of her late husband detailed on it. I think it's safe to say that Marsha was happy with the present 🎁

December 1st-7th is Crohns and Colitis awareness week.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease is a condition which affects around 500,000 people in the UK. At Caremark in Harrogate, we understand the challenges that IBD can bring. One of our Directors - Ben - has Crohns disease. We understand that it is a condition that can be hard to talk about, but this week, it is a chance to learn about those living with the condition, and what can be done to help.
