Last summer a Community Governance Review (CGR) was carried out to look at whether to create a town or parish council for Harrogate. 75% of those who responded to a survey said they preferred the option that a town council be created.

We have now developed a set of draft recommendations on what a town council might look like and we would like your views again on these recommendations.

You can have your say at https://bit.ly/3JWmAWa (closes on Friday 5 May).

Looking for something for the kids to do this Easter? 🐰

Bewerley Park Outdoor Education Centre, run by North Yorkshire Outdoor Learning Service, is running an Easter holiday club for children between the age of 9 and 12-years-old. The club will run on Monday 3 April and Tuesday 4 April, and they are offering a pick-up and drop-off service from the Hydro in Harrogate (pick-up at 9am and returning at 4.45pm).

Led by full-time outdoor tutors who lead children of all ages and abilities on outdoor adventures all year, your child can look forward to an epic adventure that will make this Easter holiday one to remember. Activities include canoeing, high-ropes, river scrambling, and bush craft – tried and tested favourites for children this age. All specialist clothing and equipment is also provided.

The cost for the holiday club is £55 per child per day, which includes lunch. Your child can attend one day or both. The pick-up and drop-off service is at no additional charge.

To book, or if you have any questions, please give Tara at Bewerley Park a call on 01423 711 287.
