Nidderdale Plus Nidderdale Plus is a registered charity, providing services and linking people and organisations across the wider Nidderdale area.

Nidderdale Plus champions the rural area to the west of Harrogate (including Nidderdale, Mashamshire and the Washburn Valley) and supports local businesses and community groups to maintain a thriving place to live and work, keeping services local. Much of the time, we work in partnership with local authorities to provide our services to the community. We work with North Yorkshire County Council, H

arrogate Borough Council and North Yorkshire Police and Fire Service, amongst others. We are very proud to offer a number of services to our local community including:

- Our community library
- Library book and jigsaw home delivery
- Citizens Advice, helping to answer your concerns and questions
- Covid-19 Community Support
- Community Transport, providing transport for local residents
- Police Front Desk
- Lost and Found

⚠️B6265 River Nidd/High St/Ripon Rd/Ripley Bank, Pateley Bridge – Carriageway resurfacing works

North Yorkshire Council have advised that works are scheduled to commence on 8 June 2026 between 6:00pm and midnight, Monday to Friday, for approximately 15 nights. Full Road Closure will be in place during the working hours, although the road will be reopened after each shift.

North Yorkshire Council have advised that letters are being distributed to affected residents and businesses, together with further information regarding access arrangements and diversion routes.

Please see the map below showing the extent of the works.

Together in The Dale is held at Christ Church Community Centre in Darley. The sessions cater for people with care needs or who are looking for companionship and something interesting to do away from their home environment for a few hours.
They are also ideally suited for respite care, for carers who can be sure that their loved one is in a safe and stimulating environment.
Sessions run from 10am-3pm and cost ÂŁ45 per session (Inc. lunch). Transport options and careers from Radfield Home Care can be present to support any care needs at no extra cost.
