CEO Patrick Cairns reiterates the continued decline in donor numbers while highlighting the vital role the charity plays in supporting the police family.

TPCC continues to provide a comprehensive range of grants, offering support not only to those facing the most difficult circumstances, but also to those who contribute to the charity through their donations.

The importance of the charity is continually reinforced through the feedback we receive from beneficiaries, who share just how much TPCC has meant to them and their families.

Craig opens the TPCC AGM by recognising the important work carried out by trustees and staff to secure the long-term financial stability of the charity, enabling us to continue providing vital support to our beneficiaries.

While the dedication and efforts of staff and trustees have helped maintain a strong financial position, donor numbers continue to decline year on year. Craig encourages anyone who has not yet signed up to do so - not only to protect their own eligibility, but also to help support colleagues should the unimaginable happen.

What a fabulous day at the National Police Dog Trials 2026 ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ’™โœจ

We absolutely loved being part of such an exciting event - cheering on these incredible police dogs ๐Ÿพ, meeting amazing people and spreading the word about the Police Childrenโ€™s Charity ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ. Every conversation helped shine a light on the support we provide to the children of Police families when they need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, showed their support, increasing awareness of what we do means more families get access to our support ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ซ Also a huge well done to all Police dog handlers and Police dogs ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

International Day of Families ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

Today weโ€™re celebrating families - and thinking especially of those in the policing family whoโ€™ve had to face loss or big life changes ๐Ÿ’™

When families lose a parent or face sudden change due to illness or injury, the impact is felt every day - but itโ€™s also a reminder that the policing family stands together as one ๐Ÿค

Weโ€™re here to walk alongside them, offering financial support and reminding them theyโ€™re never on their own ๐Ÿ’ซ

Hereโ€™s to the strength, love, and togetherness that keeps families going, even though the toughest times ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
