This Volunteers' Week, Harrogate Town Council would like to recognise and thank all those who volunteer their time to support our community – including our own Town Councillors.

Whilst Town Councillors are elected to represent local residents, they are unpaid volunteers who give their time freely to serve the people of Harrogate. Alongside their work, family and personal commitments, councillors attend meetings, support local projects, engage with residents and help shape decisions that benefit our town.

Their dedication, commitment and passion for Harrogate play an important role in helping our community thrive.

This Volunteers' Week, we extend our sincere thanks to all volunteers across our town and particularly to our Town Councillors for the time and energy they devote to public service.

💚ANNUAL REPORT – OUR FIRST YEAR💚

One year ago, Harrogate Town Council was established to provide a dedicated voice for our town.

Since 1 April 2025, we have worked to build a modern, transparent and democratic council, representing residents and delivering projects that support Harrogate's future.

Our Annual Report reflects on the Council's first year and the foundations that have been put in place for years to come.
