Please sign our online petition to save the direct funding of HAD's Welfare Benefits Team by Harrow Council. Currently HAD receives about £27,000 pa from the Council. The team generates over £1,000,000 of benefit payments each year for disabled people in Harrow and helps around a 1,000 clients each year to live independently and with dignity by using these benefits. The proposal by the Council is that direct funding of our team will cease in March this year.
We want to present a petition to the Council at their Cabinet meeting at 6:30pm on Thursday January 19th. Please come along and join us at the cabinet meeting - we are assembling at 6:00pm at the entrance to the Civic Centre in Station Road.
