Meet Bobby…

The team yesterday had the pleasure of meeting Bobby and his Mother, who at 12 has created his own business in 3D printings.

Bobby approached the crew and gave us some 3D printed gadgets to help carry and hold our medical kit when working for no fee - thank you Bobby!

We each ended up purchasing more from him and he even gave us more freebies!

Give him a follow!

Yesterday some of the team were invited and attended a fun day at Owton Manor Baptist Church to provide demonstrations and help children learn life saving skills.

It was such a great event to meet many new people and have a good time with those living in our community.

Stay safe everyone!

We’re incredibly proud to see our Charity Manager and Emergency Care Assistant, Abi Anderson, pictured on Hartlepool Police’s page following a fantastic weekend supporting the local community.

Abi was part of the team providing medical cover at West Hartlepool Rugby Football Club and a brilliant family fun day organised by the amazing 1 Hart, 1 Mind, 1 Future group. It was a true community effort, with everyone working together alongside Hartlepool Police/Cleveland Police and the Fire Service to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all.

Moments like this highlight the dedication of our team, who give their time selflessly to support the people of Hartlepool whenever it’s needed. Well done, Abi — a great example of community spirit in action.

HAPPY EASTER!

Egg‑cellent result!

The team at Hartlepool’s Utilita Energy Hub is celebrating the success of its Easter Tombola, which raised an impressive £155.45 in support of Hartlepool Ambulance Charity. The event is the latest in the Hub’s long‑term commitment to supporting the life‑saving organisation.

The Easter Tombola, held in the run‑up to the bank holiday weekend, drew strong support from local residents, customers, and community partners. Visitors were invited to take part in the festive fundraiser, with all proceeds going directly to Hartlepool Ambulance Charity to help fund essential emergency response support within the community.

Hub Supervisor Kristine Gorman said: “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and helped us raise such a fantastic amount. Hartlepool Ambulance Charity plays a vital role in our community, and we’re proud to continue supporting their essential work.

“Whether you are a Utilita customer or not, our friendly hub team are on hand to help with your energy queries – whether you want to learn about smart meters, get energy efficiency advice, or just want to chat in a welcoming environment.

“It’s thanks to our hub visitors, regulars and newcomers alike, that we have done so well and been able to provide so much support to charities and good causes.”

Hartlepool Ambulance Charity relies entirely on public donations to operate and continue providing vital emergency care and support across the local area. The funds raised by the Easter Tombola will contribute directly to sustaining this much‑needed
service.

This event forms part of Utilita’s ongoing partnership with Hartlepool Ambulance Charity, with the team of Energy Experts regularly hosting fundraising activities and awareness events to champion the charity’s mission.

The Utilita Energy Hub is open from Monday to Saturday at Unit 1, Jubilee House, York Road, Hartlepool, TS26 9EN – although every Wednesday, the team are out and about in the town on community outreach days. See more on Utilita Energy Hubs at utilita.co.uk/energy-hub.

This year, Abi was asked to lay the wreath on behalf of Hartlepool Ambulance Charity at remembrance service.
This is something she has never done before.

She was very nervous beforehand but layed the wreath and gave her respects greatly.

She said “I don’t ever wear my uniform for remembrance so I was proud to wear my uniform and contribute this year on behalf of Hartlepool Ambulance Charity”

🥀We will remember them🥀
