The One Stop Shop:
A dedicated young person’s drop-in facility for ages 13-20 (up to 25 for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) where you can receive information, advice and support from dedica
ted professionals. This support covers a range of topics including education, employment, training, sexual health, healthy relationships, benefits, housing and accommodation. We also have regular groups (supported by specialist services) in these topics. Activities include arts and crafts, team building, life skills and employability as well as a hangout facility with internet access. Hartlepool Youth Service:
A town-wide service that offers young people aged 13-20 (up to 25 for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) social and personal development through informal education and specialist support, all whilst working towards set targets; many of which can lead to a recognised qualification and/or accreditation. Local Youth Centres offer a range of fun, challenging and creative activities, where you will be supported by experienced and helpful Youth Workers. These centres feature hangout spaces, arts and crafts, sports, external trips, internet access and much more to encourage young people to get involved in local activities and make positive contributions to the community.
