Earlier in the summer, we hosted our Girls into Construction event, bringing Year 9 girls from local schools face-to-face with employers and professionals from across the construction industry.

From bridge-building to site risk assessment and budgeting exercises, the girls got a real taste of the practical and technical skills a career in construction can offer.

It's all part of our ongoing commitment to encourage and support girls and young women into construction careers, because the sector needs their talent, and there's a bigger world of opportunity out there than they might think.

Ready to gain your GCSE English or Maths?

Whether you're looking to boost your qualifications, improve your skills, or open the door to your next opportunity, it's never too late to get started.

Hartlepool College is welcoming adult learners to come along and complete an assessment for our FREE GCSE English and GCSE Maths courses, open to adults of all ages!

- Friday 4th September
- 1pm–4pm

The assessment will help us see which course is right for you, and our friendly team will be on hand to support you every step of the way. Once you're enrolled, classes take place:

- GCSE English: Wednesdays, 6pm–9pm
- GCSE Maths: Thursdays, 6pm–9pm
