A few more books have found their way into Book Hogg 📚🐷

I’ve just topped up with a wonderful donation we received from Susan 🩷

The Summer House by Santa Montefiore, along with a couple of other reads. If you’re passing, have a browse, take one that catches your eye and leave a book for someone else to enjoy if you can.

What are you reading at the moment? I’ve just started Verity by Colleen Hoover before the film comes out! I read about 60 pages last night and only planned on reading a couple 🤣

A classic has arrived at Book Hogg 📚

This lovely hardback copy of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice would be ideal for a pupil studying it at school or anyone who simply loves a timeless story.

We’re really proud that Book Hogg is an inclusive community library, open to everyone and stocked with books that reflect all different people, backgrounds, experiences and stories. ❤️🌍

You’ll spot that in this week’s shelves too, with 50 Qu**rs Who Changed the World alongside New Formation: How Black Footballers Shaped the Modern Game, because we want our little library to be somewhere everyone feels represented and welcome.

And with the kids finally back at school… 😂 we’ve stocked up on some football reads for the dads who might suddenly have a little more time on their hands, and plenty of new reads for the mums too! 📚☕️

There are new children’s books in there as well, so there really is something for everyone.

Another thriller has landed in the Book Hogg! 📖
Crash & Burn by Lisa Gardner follows a woman who survives a terrifying car crash — but when she wakes up, she’s desperately searching for a little girl who no one else seems to believe exists.

As detectives begin to dig into her story, they uncover secrets, conflicting memories and plenty of questions about what really happened. A twisty psychological thriller where nothing is quite as it first appears.

Find some ‘you’ time with a book, now normality resumes in September 🍂
