'Into the Woods' is walk from the Bale House Visitor Centre through Warren and Fairlight Glen on Saturday 19th September as part of the High Weald Walking Festival and our High Weald Weekend event.

We have some delicious specials on this weekend. crispy peri peri chicken wrap, fish and chips, ploughman's lunch and a very naughty ice-cream sundae. We will also have our regular menu of toasties, salads and breakfast baps. There will be plenty to choose from. Kitchen open 9-3pm.

Join Hastings Country Park's Conservation Volunteers this Friday and Saturday for some bracken bashing in the reserve.

Bracken is highly invasive, covering large areas and outcompeting other plants for light and space. Last Friday, we were bracken bashing at North's Seat and uncovered some lovely heather.

If you would like to come along, the group meets every Friday 10:30am-1pm and once a month on a Saturday. Please contact [email protected]/ 07849 095 129 for more information. This groups is for over 18yrs only.

The next 'Sticks in the Sticks' walk will take place on 25.08.26. at 10:30am. This walk will be from Fairlight Road Picnic Area to the Dripping Well in Fairlight Glen.

The walk will be a gentle pace with plenty of rest breaks for those less able, followed by tea/ coffee/ biscuits when we return to the picnic area.
