🎶 Connections Café, Bexhill – Visit Today 🎶
Today I had the pleasure of visiting everyone at Connections Café in Bexhill and, as always, I was welcomed with lovely smiles and a warm cup of tea. ☕😊
I was treated to a wonderful performance from the Poppy Club Ukulele Group from Little Common, who brought lots of music and fun to the morning.
There was plenty of singing, with some dancing happening throughout the morning too! 💃🎶 It was fantastic to listen to the group and join in with the singing.
A truly lovely morning filled with music, smiles, laughter and lots of enjoyment. ❤️
Thank you, as always, for welcoming me — I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

🌸 A lovely visit to Happiness in Mind Day Centre – Marlborough House, St Leonards 🌸
Today I had the pleasure of visiting Happiness in Mind Day Centre at Marlborough House in St Leonards, part of the ECR Foundation, and I was warmly welcomed by everyone. 😊
There was so much going on throughout the day, with lots of different activities and tables available for everyone to enjoy, including:
🎨 Arts, crafts and painting
🃏 Rummy Club
🀄 Dominoes
🎵 Guess the Name of the Song
🧠 A fun quiz
There was also a lovely lunch served, with fish and chips, a choice of peas or beans, followed by a delicious ice cream sundae for pudding! 🍦
This afternoon, everyone also had the chance to take part in some armchair exercises, keeping everyone active while having plenty of fun.
It was fantastic to see such a warm and welcoming environment, with so many activities, laughter and opportunities for everyone to get involved.
A huge thank you to everyone at Happiness in Mind for welcoming me today. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing all the wonderful activities you provide. 💙

🌙 A Special Evening Watching the Eclipse

Last night, one of our team shared these lovely photos from her neighbourhood, where neighbours came together in their front gardens to watch the eclipse.

One of those enjoying the evening was a neighbour living with dementia, able to take in the experience from the familiar surroundings of her own front garden.

With chairs outside and even a homemade viewing set-up, it was a simple but lovely example of community and connection.

Sometimes, meaningful moments don't need to be big or carefully planned. They can happen right outside your own front door. 💙
