United for a brighter future, we empower citizens and unite the nation for lasting change. New Zimbabwe Democratic Change was formed by Mr Bernard Mutemasango who is the President and the other 7 committee members who helped him and was intended to unify the fractured movements of the Zimbabwe radical left, and attract new activists drawing on the combined strength of far-left parties in parliamen

tary elections. At the founding conference (6 to 8 Feb 2015), 44 delegates voted on a series of documents, which had gone through a long process of amendment and re-amendment in local region assemblies. The first document"founding principles " detailed the party's analysis of the impasse of libertarian and need for both mass mobilization and in the long term, the overthrowing of existing institutions. The NZDC under the leadership of Bernard Mutemasango is a political phenomenon . It is winning more hearts and minds, including in working class communities that had previously shunned the party. Many people are desperate for an electoral alternative to the Zanu PF . But as it may be , Zimbabweans must be wary of adopting an"opposition at all costs " approach. While tons of ink have been spilled analyzing the social justiçe content of Zanu Pf polices añd practices, very little serious attention has been paid to what the post-fight back NZDC actually stands for , and what the long term implications are of its growing popularity. What type of society does the NZDC want to build ? The core concept of Mutemasango's NZDC is one of an'open opportunity society for all,'which it counter poses to the Zanu pf's closed crony society for somewhere a clique rules to accumulate wealth, for the NZDC, a competitive job-creating economy, supported by an efficient education system, are the main drivers of the society. NZDC is not the originator of the opportunity society concept. Is is more than jus a political party but a hope to Zimbabweans to bring a change ,freedom in our nation. This society is a meritocracy , where government enables individual advancement on the basis of supposedly inherent talents and industriousness, measured usually through academic credentials, rather than on characteristics such as race, gender or political affiliation .

UNDILUTED TRUTH: A POWERFUL REPLY TO APOSTLE ANDREW PASINAWAKO

To: Cde Apostle Andrew Pasinawako
National Chairman, Zimbabwe Anti Presidential Insult
From: The Speaker of the Undiluted Truth
On behalf of New Zimbabwe Democratic Change and the Suffering People of Zimbabwe

BREAKING COUNTER-WARNING 🚨

Andrew Pasinawako, you have abused the pulpit. You have taken the Word of God and turned it into a political nightstick to defend a system that has brought nothing but poverty, corruption, tears and fear to the nation of Zimbabwe. We reject your message with the full authority of both the Constitution and the same Bible you are misquoting.

You quote Romans 13:4 as if it gives a blank cheque to any government, even one that has failed its own people for decades. Have you forgotten the full counsel of Scripture? Acts 5:29 declares: “We must obey God rather than human beings!” When earthly rulers become instruments of oppression, theft and suffering, the people have a sacred duty to speak and to stand. History is full of prophets who confronted Pharaoh, Ahab, and Nebuchadnezzar. True apostles do not become court jesters for failed leadership.

You warn against a “One Million Man March” and threaten that “the government will not bear the sword in vain.” Let us speak plainly:

We are not afraid of your sword.
The real sword Zimbabweans fear is the sword of hunger in our children’s stomachs, the sword of unemployment that has scattered our youth across the globe, the sword of corruption that has looted our mines, farms and treasury, and the sword of dictatorship that insults our intelligence every single day.

You say “democracy is not a license to do whatever we want if it destroys our country.” We agree. That is why we are marching — because the current governance is destroying the country. When leaders loot, rig, kidnap, abduct and brutalise citizens, it is not the marchers who are “unruly” — it is the rulers who have become lawless.

To Andrew Pasinawako we say directly:

Stop using the name of Jehovah to protect systems that have turned Zimbabwe into a land of refugees and paupers. Stop spiritualising oppression. Stop telling suffering citizens to “regerai” while you dine with the very people who caused the suffering. The God you claim to serve hates injustice. He hears the cry of His people.

The One Million Man March is not a rebellion against God — it is a cry to God and a constitutional demand to the authorities to hear the voice of the governed. We will march peacefully. We will march lawfully. And if any “sword” is drawn against unarmed citizens exercising their constitutional rights, the blood will be on the hands of those who gave the order — not on the people.

Final Warning to Apostle Andrew Pasinawako and all who hide behind distorted scripture:

The people of Zimbabwe are awake. We have read the Bible for ourselves. We know the difference between a prophet of God and a prophet of convenience. Do not mistake the silence of a wounded nation for consent. The tide is turning. The voice of the people is the voice that Heaven itself recognises when it aligns with justice, truth and righteousness.

Njodzi yokurwisa vanhu vakatsikirirwa naJehovha ndiyo iri pamusoro penyu the danger of fighting against the oppressed people of God.

We are not your enemies, Apostle. But we will not be silenced by misused scripture. Zimbabwe belongs to its citizens, not to any political godfathers or their spiritual bodyguards.

This is the Undiluted Truth.
This is the Voice of New Zimbabwe Democratic Change.
This is the Voice of the People of Zimbabwe.

We are coming — peacefully, but we are coming.
Regedza kutyisidzira vanhu vaJehovha.

ZANU PF Party, Sam Mupedziswa and Hon. Daniel Garwe, we the New Zimbabwe Democratic Change, have seen your recent address at the Mash East Deaf Community event and the associated messages. We remain strongly against and completely unshakable in the face of any threats or attempts at intimidation.

On 31 July, the people of Zimbabwe shall come out in their numbers, it’s too late and unstoppable. This is their fundamental democratic right to assemble peacefully, to express their will, and to participate freely in the political life of the nation. No amount of threats will deter this. We shall do what we know must be done to defend democracy, constitutionalism, and the will of the people.

We urge you and those aligned with you to respect the Constitution, refrain from issuing or supporting threats, and allow citizens to exercise their rights without fear. Zimbabwe deserves better than fear-mongering and suppression.

The democratic wave cannot be stopped. We stand firm.

Sam Mupedziswa and your so called CZLWVA. Let us make this clear to you without any fear or anything we the people of this nation our forefathers fought for we are saying, Enough of this captured propaganda dressed up as patriotism!

The so-called Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association (CZLWVA) has sold its soul to the very system that has betrayed everything their parents fought for. While they preach “peace, unity and productivity,” millions of young Zimbabweans are drowning in unemployment, sky-high inflation, collapsed hospitals, and a education system in ruins. Their call to reject the 31 July shutdown is not wisdom — it is a desperate defence of a rotten status quo that has failed an entire generation.

You speak of “the legacy of the liberation struggle”? How dare you? The real legacy of that struggle was **freedom from oppression**, not blind obedience to a corrupt elite that has turned independence into a licence to loot. Your parents fought against injustice — today you are being used as shields for the same kind of authoritarianism they sacrificed to defeat.

Calling for “dialogue and respect for the rule of law” while the ruling elite Weaponises that same law against its own citizens is pure hypocrisy. Where was your “rule of law” when farms were looted, when diamonds disappeared, when activists were abducted, and when judges were turned into political tools? Your provincial chairpersons’ coordinated statements read like a script written in the corridors of power, not the voice of liberated youth.

We refuse to be lectured on “peaceful participation” by those who mistake silence for peace. Peace without justice is surrender. Stability that only protects the powerful while the majority starve is not stability — it is organised poverty.

To every young Zimbabwean:

Do not let these captured voices discourage you. Your anger is legitimate. Your demand for change is legitimate. The time for polite petitions is over. The people have the constitutional right to peacefully express their dissatisfaction with a government that has spectacularly failed them for decades.

We, the New Zimbabwe Democratic Charge, stand with every youth who refuses to inherit misery. We will not be silenced by recycled liberation rhetoric used to defend failure. The 31 July shutdown call is a symptom of deep national frustration — a frustration your association chooses to shame instead of addressing.

This is no longer about one protest. This is about the total rejection of a system that has hijacked our independence.

We are not children of surrender. We are the generation that will finish the liberation.

New Zimbabwe is coming — whether you accept it or not.

Message from New Zimbabwe Democratic Change (NZDC)

Fellow Zimbabweans, Members of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces and Police Service,

The truth everyone is speaking about is now undeniable: the Constitution has been amended and signed into law, entrenching one-party dominance and removing the last safeguards against lifelong rule. This was done against the will of the suffering people while corruption devours the nation and repression silences every voice of dissent.

To our brothers and sisters in the Army and Police: You swore an oath to protect the sovereignty of Zimbabwe and defend the Constitution — not any political party or individual. The real threat to our nation today is not the people, but the looting and dictatorship that has turned our security forces into tools of oppression. Stand with the Constitution and the people who pay your salaries. Protect Zimbabwe, not ZANU-PF.

This is our moment.

**New Zimbabwe Democratic Change (NZDC)** is here with a clear and solid action plan:

1. Immediate nationwide mobilisation of citizens in peaceful, lawful assemblies and petitions demanding restoration of term limits and genuine electoral reform.
2. Mass membership drive to build an unstoppable united front across all provinces, tribes and generations.
3. Civic education and community chapters to expose corruption and organise at grassroots level.
4. Strategic legal and international pressure to defend what remains of our democracy.
5. Preparation for total non-violent defiance until real change is delivered.

We invite every Zimbabwean — at home and in the diaspora — to join the New Zimbabwe Democratic Change movement right now. Register. Organise. Speak truth. Stand together.

The army and police must choose: protect the people or protect a dying regime. Zimbabwe is watching.

Join NZDC today. The battle for our sovereignty begins with us.

14/07/2026

Fellow Zimbabweans,

Constitutional Amendment Bill 3 (CAB3) has been passed by Parliament, signed by the President, and gazetted. The “squeeze” on Agenda 2030 has finally extracted its juice. Presidential term limits have been altered. The two-term safeguard that was meant to protect our young democracy has been removed for the incumbent. What many called “elite theatre” is now the supreme law of the land.

We told you this was never mainly about the opposition, civic society, or the letter of the old constitution. It was always about whether the internal voices inside ZANU-PF and the security sector would allow it. They have now aligned. The factional resistance, the military calculations, the fear of precedent — all have given way. The orange has been squeezed.

But let us speak plainly, as our Constitution demands: **this is not victory for Zimbabwe. It is a setback for every ordinary citizen.**

- It damages the legitimacy of the 2013 Constitution that was sold to us as “people-driven.”
- It entrenches the politics of personal rule over institutional democracy.
- It sends a clear message to investors, donors, and our own youth: accountability is optional, succession is managed from the top, and the same patronage networks will continue.
- At a time when inflation still bites, factories remain closed, our children emigrate in record numbers, and corruption scandals refuse to die, the ruling elite chose to spend political capital on extending power instead of fixing the basics.

We warned that the juice would not be worth the squeeze. Past African experiences show that removing term limits rarely produces better governance — it usually stores up larger crises for later. Zimbabwe deserves better than becoming another cautionary tale.

**Yet we at NZDC refuse to despair.**

Our founding document — the NZDC Constitution of January 2018 (revised & updated) — was written precisely for moments like this. We are **pro-people and pro-democracy**. We stand for **dialogue, inclusiveness, integrity, transparency, and genuine nation building**. We still believe that “dialogue averts crisis and improves social cohesion.” Zimbabwe is one, and no constitutional amendment can cancel that truth.

The passing of CAB3 does not end the conversation. It makes our mission more urgent.

We therefore renew our call:

Come to the round table.

Join New Zimbabwe Democratic Change today. Membership remains open to every Zimbabwean — regardless of past political affiliation, economic status, or regional background. Whether you are a disillusioned former ZANU-PF cadre, a frustrated opposition supporter, a young person tired of being used as a slogan, a rural farmer, a professional, or a member of the diaspora who still loves this country — your place is here.

Our objectives have not changed:
- Transform mindsets toward real love of nation.
- End tribalism, regionalism, and elite capture.
- Drive community-based economic revival, youth and women empowerment, technological advancement, peace and reconciliation, and accountable governance.
- Replace elite power games with collective decision-making and practical solutions.

Benefits of membership are real: a genuine sense of belonging, networking, skills development, business support, research capacity, and the chance to help birth the Zimbabwe our forefathers actually fought for — not the one being reshaped for one man’s convenience.

The NEC, Provincial and District Coordinators, and Recruitment Committee are ready to receive you. Join : https://chat.whatsapp.com/KPDNobFaKryBTRfSRHVt7M?s=cl&p=i&ilr=1&amv=1

The Change That We All Have Been Waiting For is not found in signed constitutional amendments that favour one individual. It is found in ordinary citizens choosing dialogue over division, cooperation over confrontation, and nation building over personality cults.

Let us talk. Let us organise. Let us build — together.

Dialogue for Nation Building.

Official Statement from New Zimbabwe Democratic Change (NZDC)

To the Government of Zimbabwe,

We, the New Zimbabwe Democratic Change, speak with one clear and uncompromising voice: Power belongs to the people of Zimbabwe.

Your latest constitutional manoeuvres — including the document bearing the national emblem and titled “ZIMBABWE ACT” (Amendment No. 3) printed by the Government Printer in Harare — change nothing about this fundamental truth. The Constitution itself exists only because the people ordained it. No amendment, no decree, and no act of Parliament can transfer sovereignty from the citizens to any ruling clique. The people granted you limited authority to serve, not unlimited licence to rule.

We therefore serve you this final notice:

- The era of government above the people is over.
- The era of people’s rule has begun.

Any further attempt to entrench power, silence dissent, or rewrite the Constitution to suit the rulers rather than the ruled will be met by the unified, relentless, and democratic resistance of the Zimbabwean people. We do not seek chaos — we demand the restoration of the sovereign will of the citizens that your government has systematically undermined.

Let this message reverberate from Harare to every village and diaspora community: Power belongs to the People. People’s rule shall govern.

We call upon every Zimbabwean — at home and abroad — to stand together in defence of our Constitution, our dignity, and our future. The government exists by the consent of the governed. That consent is now withdrawn until genuine democratic rule is restored.

Power to the People. People’s Rule Shall Govern.
No Retreat. No Surrender.
