The new heart of Old Hatfield, just a short walk from Hatfield Park.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend to celebrate the opening of Salisbury Square. It was a real pleasure to welcome so many neighbours, old friends and new faces into this next chapter for Old Hatfield.

Years in the making, Salisbury Square brings new homes, workspaces, shops and shared spaces back into the centre of our community, all shaped with our local history in mind.

As with everything across the Estate, the vision for this space reaches well beyond the opening weekend: it's a place that will grow and settle into daily life for years to come.

🌱✨ A very special moment at Salisbury Square ✨🌱

We were delighted to welcome children from the Ryde School’s Gardening Club to Salisbury Square this morning, where they helped us plant the finishing touches to our beautiful new green space.

Working alongside Lady Salisbury and our Head Gardener, Andrew Turvey, the children rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on - bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a real sense of care to the space. It was fantastic to see them help bring the planting scheme to life.

This newly landscaped area has been designed as a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy, and it is wonderful that it has been helped along by the next generation of gardeners. 🌿

A huge thank you to the pupils and teachers from Ryde School for being part of this moment - your contribution will be enjoyed by the local community for years to come.
