📢 New Exhibition Opening for Heritage Open Days!

This year's Heritage Open Days exhibition, created by our dedicated Heritage Hub volunteers, explores the working lives of people connected to Leigh Park from the 1800s to the present day. From gardeners and midwives to shopkeepers, nurses and wartime workers, the exhibition brings local history to life through personal stories, photographs and memories.
Featuring fascinating accounts of local figures, this volunteer-researched exhibition offers a fascinating glimpse into Leigh Park's past and shines a spotlight on the people behind Leigh Park's history.
The exhibition will run at the Coach House Visitor centre from 11th- 20th September.

Join us on Saturday 19th from 10:30am-2:30pm for a special opening, where you can meet some of the Heritage Hub volunteers who will help you uncover the stories behind the place we know today.

Another year of Bark at Staunton Country Park is over! 🐾

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our visitors (especially the four-legged ones 🐕) for coming to see us, to our stall holders for bringing their array of doggy delights, to our amazing demonstration and have-a-go teams, and to the park team for putting together such a fun-filled day.

We would also like to say a special thank you to our volunteers, who give up their free time to help make events like this possible. Staunton Country Park relies heavily on the support of our fantastic fleet of volunteers, whether that's maintaining the gardens, working alongside the ranger team or supporting our events...they are super! Thank you! 🐶

Here on a previous Bark at Staunton we have the loveable Labrador posing on our photo box 🐶 be sure to take your own pic on the day!

Labradors have a fantastic sense of smell very useful when working as a support dog or working in the services....But even better when it's paired with their insatiable appetite, they will always be ready and waiting when the treat bag is out.
