🏊🚴♀️🏃♂️➡️🥇The Long Course Weekend returns this Friday, Saturday and Sunday and for 2026 there are some important changes in place.
The Wales Sportive cycle ride on Saturday June 27 will be on open roads and there has been major changes to the longer routes to ensure cyclists get to see more of Pembrokeshire.

🏊Friday June 26: The Wales Swim, North Beach, Tenby.
Swim starts 5pm.
⛔️ There will be a road closure in place at The Norton from White Lion Street to St John's Hill and controlled access for residents on the Croft.

Closure will be in force between 4.30pm - 6.30pm.
🚴♀️Saturday June 27: The Wales Sportive cycle event.
The rides start from the Salterns car park in Tenby. The 112m and 80m routes start from 6.30am-7.30am. The 40m and 20m routes start from 8.30am-9.30am.
There will be no road closures for the Wales Sportive in 2026.
However, the routes for the longer rides have changed to include parts of mid and north Pembrokeshire.

🏃♂️➡️Sunday June 28: The Wales Marathon, The Wales Half Marathon, the Wales 10K and The Wales 5K.
The Wales Marathon starts from the Salterns car park, Tenby, at 10am.
The Wales 5k starts from the Salterns car park, Tenby at 10.30am.
The Wales Half marathon starts at Main Street, Pembroke at 12midday.
The Wales 10K starts from Manorbier Castle, Manorbier at 1.30pm.

🚌Please note there will be some impact on local bus services during the Long Course Weekend:
Friday June 26: all services will run as normal
Saturday June 27: all services will run as normal, however there may be delays due to the Wales Sportive cycle event on the following routes: 302, 322, 349, 356, 381, 400 (Puffin Shuttle), 430 and T11.
Sunday June 28: 387/8 (Coastal Cruiser) – NO SERVICE.
Tenby Coaster (Tenby-Saundersfoot) – will run as normal, however the first journey will be rerouted along Heywood Lane instead of Marsh Road.
