After 9 long weeks, these Year 1 children from St Marks school deserve a big pat on the back! They have worked really hard this term learning how to be safe pedestrians and have received their certificates in honour of this. Well done, children – you’ve worked really hard and we’ll miss seeing you each week. Stay safe! 😊

Ar ôl naw wythnos hir, mae'r plant Blwyddyn 1 hyn o Ysgol St Marks yn haeddu clod mawr! Maen nhw wedi gweithio'n galed iawn y tymor hwn yn dysgu sut i fod yn gerddwyr diogel ac wedi derbyn eu tystysgrifau i gydnabod hyn. Da iawn, blant – rydych chi wedi gweithio'n galed iawn ac fe fyddwn ni'n gweld eich eisiau chi bob wythnos. Cadwch yn ddiogel! 😊

How many ways can cars come from? Get your ‘magic fingers’ out and let’s count them all on this junction. That’s what the children from Goodwick’s school’s Year 1 & 2 class have been doing today and they’ve done a brilliant job at it too!

O sawl cyfeiriad y gall ceir ddod? Tynnwch eich ‘bysedd hud’ allan a gadewch i ni gyfrif pob un ar y gyffordd hon. Dyna beth y bu plant Blwyddyn 1 & 2 o Ysgol Wdig yn ei wneud heddiw, ac maen nhw wedi gwneud gwaith arbennig o dda hefyd!

The Road Safety and Transport teams recently ran a competition across Pembrokeshire for all year 5 & 6 pupils to design a new Active Travel logo. The winner of the competition, from a large number of entries, was Lillian Richards from Cleddau Reach School. Lillian’s entry was thoughtful, bright and eye catching, she was presented with a certificate and prize last week to commemorate her hard work and winning design! Well done Lillian!!

Yn ddiweddar, cynhaliodd y timau Diogelwch ar y Ffyrdd a Thrafnidiaeth gystadleuaeth ledled Sir Benfro i holl ddisgyblion blynyddoedd 5 a 6 i ddylunio logo Teithio Llesol newydd. Enillydd y gystadleuaeth, o blith nifer fawr o geisiadau, oedd Lillian Richards o Ysgol Bro Cleddau. Roedd cyflwyniad Lillian yn feddylgar, yn llachar ac yn denu’r llygad, a chyflwynwyd tystysgrif a gwobr iddi yr wythnos diwethaf i nodi ei gwaith caled a’i dyluniad buddugol! Da iawn Lillian!!

A Pembrokeshire pupil is celebrating success after her design was selected as the county’s new Active Travel logo.

A huge thank you to the JRSO’s from Cleddau Reach school for organising a fun cycle event today for the Year 5 and 6 pupils. It was a great success with lots of happy, smiling faces joining in. Great work!

Diolchiadau enfawr i Swyddogion Iau Diogelwch ar y Ffyrdd Ysgol Bro Cleddau am drefnu digwyddiad seiclo hwyliog heddiw i ddisgyblion Blwyddyn 5 a 6. Roedd yn llwyddiant mawr gyda llawer o wynebau hapus i’w gweld. Gwaith gwych!

Sharing the Road with Horses 🐎

Did you know? The Highway Code says drivers should pass horses at max 10mph and give at least 2 metres of space.

🔴 Slow down – sudden movements can startle horses.
🔴 Be patient – loud engine noises can cause panic.
🔴 Pass wide & slow

A small change in driving habits = a huge difference for riders & their horses. Let’s make the roads safer for all!

Rhannu’r Ffordd gyda Cheffylau 🐎

Oeddech chi'n gwybod? Mae Rheolau'r Ffordd Fawr yn dweud y dylai gyrwyr basio ceffylau ar uchafswm o 10mya a rhoi o leiaf 2 fetr o le.

🔴 Arafwch – gall symudiadau sydyn ddychryn ceffylau.
🔴 Byddwch yn amyneddgar - gall synau injan uchel achosi panig.
🔴Pasiwch yn llydan ac yn araf

Newid bach mewn arferion gyrru = gwahaniaeth enfawr i farchogion a'u ceffylau. Gadewch i ni wneud y ffyrdd yn fwy diogel i bawb!

Here are the Year 1 Pupils at St Marks School learning how to cross the road by parked cars as safely as possible. They are all doing a fantastic job identifying the 4 checks they need to do on the cars to make sure it is safe to cross by them. Well done everybody, keep up the good work! 😊

Dyma Ddisgyblion Blwyddyn 1 Ysgol Sant Marc yn dysgu sut i groesi'r ffordd gyda cheir wedi'u parcio mor ddiogel â phosibl. Maen nhw i gyd yn gwneud gwaith gwych yn nodi'r 4 gwiriad sydd angen iddyn nhw eu gwneud ar y ceir i wneud yn siŵr ei bod hi'n ddiogel croesi heibio iddyn nhw. Da iawn bawb, daliwch ati gyda'r gwaith da! 😊
