Mr Paul Bennett, coroner, same coroner for ALL cases brought against the state, here in Pembrokeshire, since Seren. Is this man truly independent and remaining impartial with his view?
This is the same Coroner appointed to conduct Seren's Inquest:
Closed the scope to 6 months instead of considering the whole 2yrs Pembrokeshire County Council promoted her wishes and feelings.
Refusing ARTICLE 2 inquest and the consideration for ALL evidence to be brought before the court.
The ONLY investigation throughout Seren's Inquest was that placed upon myself and ordered by this coroner. I feel like I have been witch hunted to justify their failings.
25 witnesses called, only 12 took the stand including myself, 11 of which had something derogatory to say about me although having never met me.
Withdrew the statements from the Social Workers and Management as evidence, as they didn't wish to defend their comments.
Would not allow questioning on the legalities of Seren's placement or the previous 18 months of abuse, mental health and deterioration.
No one from education AT ALL took the stand for questioning. Why?
No one from the police was called for questioning. Why?
The Independent Social Worker expert witness, withdrew his findings that mirrored the SCR executive summary and apologised personally for his findings. The independent expert witness had not been given ALL relevant information to consider. It seems he was ONLY given the information from the Local Authorities and on "THE FACE OF IT" all procedures seemed to be adhered to and followed.. Retracted? The information for Seren's case took years to comply as very little was existing at time of death. My first paperwork for Seren was posted, No date on the document , by hand, on the 16.01.2012. .. No parent should be leaving this process with more questions than they started with. I understand this process is not to appoint blame, however it remains paramount that ALL relevant evidence is called and considered when it is the unexpected death of a child.
Now another child's life has been taken too soon. Where is this CCTV and other evidence? If it were you or I, it would be found.. Why,Who and what is really being being protected in this County?
