We would like to thank Gordon for all his beautiful paintings he has done of Hawarden Village and all over Cheshire , Lancashire and throughout the country . We were honoured to have displayed and sold his paintings and cards here in the post office over many years. There will be a memorial service tomorrow at St Deiniol’s Church, hawarden at 11.30am if anyone would like to attend . Rest in peace Gordon and we send our love and prayers to Val and his family

Wow we have been overwhelmed by all the generous well wishes , comments and visits today as we celebrated our 1st year anniversary by dressing in our traditional clothes and giving out Indian Sweet Treats to our customers as a thank you for your loyal support .
