I hope you have all seen our lights flashing over the Christmas time trying to brighten up the street inspite of the terrible weather and A Happy New Year to All. How do you like the sheep we made it. it's a planter and will be smart filled with some lovely flowers next spring and watch this space for more ideas

As it's a month since we opened our Men's Shed I thought I would give you an update to let you know how things were progressing.
We have a nucleus of eighteen members and frequently getting phone call asking for information on what we are doing and up to this moment we have received various items of furnishings and some tools. We built a couple of work benches and some units and work tops then we laid carpeting in our Quiet area fitted up a computer and generally making the Shed into a user friendly place to pursue our objectives.
We are holding our inaugural meeting on Monday 9th November any prospective candidate or interested person will be welcome to come along at 10am 17 Commercial Road.

Great News. we have found a Home for the Hawick Men's Shed it is the ground floor area units A2 & A3. 17 Commercial Road.Got access to the property last night. It looks great but now the work begins. Watch this Space for more information!!!!!
