May 1st marks 13 years of Mission Impossible at the Post Office.
Thirteen years in, despite the daily challenges of Horizon, dodgy equipment, ever-changing requirements and IT disasters, Hawkesbury Post Office continues to thrive and serve the constantly-changing needs of the village.
Thanks for your continued support and patience. With the disappearance of most banks, don’t let this vital service disappear in the same way.

You may not be aware that you can do most banking at your local post office.
Here is a link to the "Everyday Banking" page on the Post Office website:

There's a "Who do you bank with?" list that enables you to look up the personal and business banking services that are available to you via your local post office.
A few points to note:
- The amount you can withdraw is determined by the daily limit on your account and the account's balance.
- Post Office Horizon system does not support cash withdrawals by phone or device, so you need a physical debit card to withdraw cash or get cashback to pay for post office goods.
Definitely worth sharing this information with any friends or family, who do not do online banking, who are concerned about access to banking services.🙂💳💷📮
