Elections - As you go to vote on Thursday, I know people care about big issues like immigration but this is a local election where the important issues which can be affected by me are : ' Protecting our open spaces and heritage', Keeping our community ' , 'Tackling the ' and 'Stopping '.
These are my priorities and regardless of who you vote for I have a track record as a councillor of helping everyone.

My Key Priorities for Our Community at the upcoming local elections.

Stop Cuckstye
- I have campaigned alongside local residents and community groups to oppose this unwanted development.
- I will continue to stand firmly against any attempt to shortlist this site by the current Mid Sussex administration. A diverse vote from Conservatives might put this site at further risk.

Protect Our Green Open Spaces
- I will fight to safeguard our countryside and the green spaces that make our area special.
- I support delivering the homes we need — but only in appropriate, sustainable locations.

Fix the Potholes
- I back a practical approach: strong local teams repairing potholes quickly, supported by the Conservative national policy focused on long‑term road improvements.

Tackling Crime and Disorder
- I will campaign for more visible policing in our area.
- This aligns with Conservative national policy to increase police numbers by 10,000 and thus strengthen community safety.

Support Local Business
- I will champion measures that help small and local businesses thrive, including lower taxes and the removal of business rates for many local firms as a Conservative policy.

Pride in Our Local Community
- I believe in taking pride in where we live — supporting neighbourhoods, encouraging volunteering, and keeping our area clean, safe, and welcoming.

Delighted to attend an extremely well supported Cuckfield Society fund raiser last evening to stop Cuckstye.

The appeal for this unwanted site is set for early June where I have submitted strong objections.

In the meantime I will fight any plans to shortlist Ansty Farm for inclusion into the District Plan.

Dusty Bin and Worse!

Out in Lucastes and Cuckfield today speaking with residents — and finding a pile of rubbish left festering after recent Lib Dem bin‑service changes. People told me about the smell, the stress, and even reports of rats after 5 weeks their bins not being emptied.

I stepped in, contacted the Council, and got it sorted. When something affects residents’ wellbeing, I act.

If you want a councillor who’s proactive and gets things done, I’m here for you.
