📢 Heanor Retail Park – drainage and resurfacing works
The Town Council has been notified of upcoming drainage and resurfacing works at Heanor Retail Park, starting on Thursday 24 September 2026.
Please note that these works are not being carried out, instructed or managed by the Town Council. We are sharing this information simply to ensure local residents are aware of the works and any potential disruption.
📅 What to expect
Drainage works
Thursday 24 September from 7am
Traffic management will be in place until 11pm on Sunday 27 September
Access to the retail park will remain open throughout
Resurfacing works
Sunday 27 September, 4pm–11pm – Phase 1, including noisy works
Monday 28 September, 10am–2pm – Phase 2
Access to the retail park will be maintained, but parking will be limited during the works.
Residents in the surrounding area, including Joan Avenue, High Street and Fletcher Street, are due to receive letters with further information.
There may be some noise disturbance, particularly during the Sunday evening resurfacing works. It is hoped that the relatively short duration of the works will help to minimise disruption.
